Muva - BVG's accessible & on demand transport service

BVG Muva is an on-demand transport service with barrier-free minibuses that can be used as an alternative to other public transport by customers with mobility impairments in Berlin.
Service Provided
BVG Muva offers transport between all U-, S-Bahn and regional train stations as well as all bus stops in Berlin city limits, limited to a direct journey within a 5 km radius (as the crow flies, measured from the departure stop). BVG Muva’s journeys are potentially shared with other passengers on the same route (pooling) and always end at public transport stops.
Intended Users
The service is aimed at people with people reduced mobility as well as senior citizens, people with prams or small children, pregnant women, injured people, and people with luggage.

BVG Muva serves to ensure the mobility of people with mobility impairments and ensure accessibility in the entire AB tariff zone of the Berlin public transport network. This includes all of the city of Berlin.
Service Details
BVG Muva is available on weekdays from 4:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and from Friday to Saturday, as well as on weekends and public holidays, around the clock. Journeys can be booked via the BVG Muva app or by telephone. Each vehicle has at least one wheelchair space and one seat for children of all weight classes and sizes (baby, toddler, primary school student). For routes longer than 5 km users are offered a combined proposal of accessible public transport and BVG Muva. Advance bookings can be made up to seven days in advance.
Financial Details
Use of BVG Muva only requires a valid public transport ticket or a severely disabled person ID card. BVG tickets start at €2.60 for a short distance ticket or €3.80 for a one-way ticket, and can be purchased on-board. Accompanying persons and service dogs travel free.
