Smart Move in the Metropolitan Area of Alba Iulia

The public project was launched in October 2012 with an initial six-year contract as an independent initiative.
It introduced a novel approach to transport planning by transferring responsibilities from county authorities to an association of local authorities, comprising city halls and local councils.
The association includes eight members: the city of Alba Iulia and seven neighbouring rural localities.
